Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 2026

AI Edge Academy is committed to making our website and courses accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. This page explains our current accessibility status and how to contact us if you experience any issues.

Our commitment

We aim to ensure that aiedgeacademy.net and our course platform meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. We believe that everyone should be able to access quality education regardless of ability.

Current status

We are actively working to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. The following accessibility features are currently in place:

  • Semantic HTML structure throughout the site
  • Alt text on all meaningful images
  • Sufficient colour contrast ratios on text elements
  • Keyboard navigable interface
  • Resizable text without loss of content or functionality
  • No content that flashes more than 3 times per second

Known limitations

We are aware of the following areas that are being actively improved:

  • Some interactive elements may not yet have full ARIA label support
  • Older course videos may not yet have closed captions — we are adding captions to all course content progressively
  • Some custom UI components are being updated to improve screen reader compatibility

Assistive technology compatibility

Our site is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver)
  • Browser zoom up to 200%
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • High contrast mode

Course content accessibility

All courses include:

  • Written transcripts or summaries for video lessons (where available)
  • Downloadable PDF resources and templates
  • Self-paced learning with no time pressure

We are progressively adding closed captions to all video content. If a course you have purchased does not yet have captions and you require them, contact us and we will prioritise that course.

Feedback and contact

If you experience any accessibility barriers on our site or in our courses, please let us know. We take all accessibility feedback seriously and aim to respond within 5 business days.

Review schedule

We review this accessibility statement and conduct site audits annually. Our next scheduled review is May 2027.
